I admit, I got sidetracked. It happens to you, doesn't it? A glitch of any sort can throw you off, leave you spiraling in Frumpville. My excuse is cleaning and preparing to sell the house, having it listed, and then keeping it clean for showings, of which we've had only two in the week it has been on the market.
But, now that things are calm, so am I, for the most part.
I brought the sexy back last night with a home pedicure. I sat with my feet soaking in a minty bubble bath and then I scrubbed, massaged and moisturized.
As I indulged, I breathed deep, and wondered why in the world I don't do this more often. Ten minutes is all it took, and then I climbed into bed dressed in clean sheets and cracked open a new book. I know, quite the undertaking. I'm up for it.

It sounds divine.
How often I have had that same thought, as I do something soothing or nourishing for me body and soul - why don't I do this more often?
I am happy to hear you gave this to yourself. It reminds me to do the same.
oooo...a pedicure, I forgot how relaxing that is! Anna Karenina is on my reading list, but I'm not feeling up to it, lol. Good luck with it.
Pure heaven! I'm glad you found time to relax, take care of yourself and feel sexy!
Clean sheets are the bee's knees, aren't they? I just need to learn how perform a DIY pedicure.
Does anything feel better than clean, cool sheets?
And, Shawn, that's not a book. That's a BOOK!
we put our house on the market pretty much the same day you did. how is it going?
you have reminded me there is enough time, money and energy to take care of myself.
off to pluck my eyebrows, massage my baby belly with fine oils, and give myself a pedicure.
keep relaxing and being good to you.

Give us more!
I'm ready for bringing more sexy back.
